HEAD FASHION DESIGNER: ZACHARY ALEXANDER
Zachary Alexander is a self taught designer based in Brooklyn NY. Inspired by movement, nature, and the human body he started designing clothing at the age of 12. Through his years at Talent Unlimited High School he practiced his craft through one-on-one client orders, creating costumes for productions, and organizing yearly fashion shows where in his final year he showcased his self named label Zachary Alexander. Launched in 2009, Zachary Alexander has showcased collections at Webster Hall, The Secret Theatre, and The Church of All Saints. His work has been featured in NYC Dance Project’s The Art of Movement, NY1, and showcased during Vivid Sydney. Zachary works with Artists, NYC nightlife socialites and drag queens, and various dance companies as a costume designer. Zachary Alexander has been collaborating with LLMoves since 2014. |
FASHION DESIGN: SHO KONISHI
Sho Konishi is a fashion designer living and working in NY. Sho Konishi has MA from Paris College of Art Haute Technology and Haute Couture Fashion Design (2017 Honors) BA from Tokyo Mode Gakuen College of Fashion and Design (2015 Honors) His ideology of about fashion is that fashion design for me is a tangible representation of human existence. I use clothes as a way to design life. Sho Konishi has been had a fashion show: "night of fashion" in NY 2018 and 2017 and Sho Konishi original collection 2014, and his works were a part of the Shinjuku Style Collection 2014. Sho has been exhibited DARK MATERIAL: A FASHION FILM with HAYES BROS at RIFFRAFFS in Manhattan(2016) And he also had exhibited in Kiryu where is famous fabric city, in Japan. He exhibited works that incorporated a traditional dye technique by a company known as Tuchida Sangyo in Kiryu. Sho Konishi received the following Prizes and Awards; Frank furt style award 1st Prize GERMANY (2017) Tokyo Mode Gakuen creator of the year(2015), LINEAPELLE2015 ITALY Second Prize(2015), Tokyo Mode Gakuen Graduation Project Fashion Show Group Gold Prize and Yoichi Nagasawa Certificatein (2015). Also he, Nippori Fashion Design Contest Second Prize(2014), Shinjuku Fashion Field Judge`s Prize(2014), Kanazawa Fashion Competition Lady`s wear Gold Prize(2014), Fashion Design Contest Kurashiki Fashion Floor First Prize(2014), TOKYO NEW DESIGNER FASHION GRAND PRIX Best Prize recipient(2014). In addition, Shinjuku Fashion Field Judge`s Selection Prize(2014), Fashion Design Contest Kurashiki Fashion Floor First Prize(2014), Nation Wide Design Contest in Sabae Gold Prize(2013). FASHION DESIGN: MINIKA KO
Minika Ko is a fashion designer based in New York City. She is the founder and designer of her eponymous company, Minika Ko LLC. Her high performance ready-to-wear line, KOVASKY, combines high fashion with cutting-edge textiles to create a wardrobe capable of keeping up with the modern power woman. Her atelier also creates one-of-a-kind custom designs for private clients, ranging from individuals to organizations. Minika vividly recalls her childhood spent traveling with her mother and grandmother, who were both self-made entrepreneurs. She watched as they juggled family and business obligations, yet still managed to remain infallibly stylish. Taking inspiration from these strong female figures, Minika grew up to become a designer making clothing for women to kick ass fashionably. She has worked as a designer in France, Taipei, and Los Angeles, before finally calling New York City her home. Minika brings her global experiences to the world of fashion, designing with adventurers in mind — the ambitious, independent, modern woman. Inspired by the heroine in every woman, her designs exude confident femininity and channel courage and passion. Minika treats her work as a wearable art form. This philosophy is most clearly shown in her custom work. Minika’s atelier designs bespoke formal wear and gowns, theater costumes, dance wear, and one-of-a-kind pieces for art exhibitions. |
