DANCER: ZACHARY TRACZ
Zachary Tracz is originally from Queens, NY and started his dance training with competitive ballroom dance. While competing in ballroom he also trained at the Joffrey School of Ballet and Ballet Hispanico. He attended Talent Unlimited High School, majoring in Dance, where he was able to attend the Martha Graham School for Contemporary Dance youth program and dance alongside Martha Graham Dance Company on the Queen Mary II. In 2009, Zachary attended the Martha Graham School for Contemporary Dance and became a member of Graham II on full scholarship. While in Graham II, he performed lead roles such as the Red Couple in Diversion of Angels and The Preacher in Appalachian Spring. Zachary has collaborated with Bhenji Ra, Samuel Pott, Carolina Rivera, Benjamin Gaspard, Yoshito Sakuraba, and Caitlin Dutton. Zachary has been a member of JT Lotus Dance Company, INTW & Artists, and Abarukas. Zachary has been a member of LLMoves since 2014. |
DANCER: KARA WALSH
Kara Walsh began her dance training at The School of Performing Arts in New Milford, Connecticut, under the direction of Arlene Begleman and Robert Maiorano. She attended the Jillana School summer program in Taos, New Mexico and shortly afterwards moved to New York City to attend the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Independent Study Program. Kara has studied with teachers Graciela Kozak, Elizabeth Parkinson, Maria Calegari, Robert Maiorano and Mary Ann Lamb. Currently, Kara is a member of Nomad Contemporary Ballet and is working with Abdur-Rahim Jackson on several projects, including NAHA Hair Awards in Las Vegas and a World Peace Day Performance at Lincoln Center. Over the summer, she danced for Benoit-Swan Pouffer in a Tracey Rease Fashion Show for New York City Fashion Week, and danced in a music video for Icelantic pop star Ásgeir, choreographed by Celia Rowson Hall with dancers from New York City Ballet. Kara was a member of Spectrum Dance Theater in Seattle, Washington. She also performed in the 5th Avenue Theatre’s production of Oklahoma in Seattle, where she played the part of “Dream Laurey” in the dream ballet section with choreography by Donald Byrd. |
DANCER: EMMA BRANSON
Emma Branson began dancing at Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet in Richland, Washington under the direction of Debra Pearse Rogo. Augmenting her dance education, Emma attended summer dance intensives such as the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Program, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, American Ballet Theater, and The Juilliard School. Emma is a recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee on scholarship where she earned her B.F.A in Contemporary Dance Performance as well as represented as the Wendy McCain Dance Scholar Recipient. While finishing her studies during her senior year, Emma was an apprentice with Complexions Contemporary Ballet where she performed Dwight Rhoden’s works all over the U.S. and Europe. Emma has worked in choreographic residencies with and performed works by Dwight Rhoden, Helen Pickett, Francesca Harper, Maleek Washington, Margo Sappington, Rex Wheeler, Daniel Pelzig, and more. Emma is now a full company member with Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company and is thrilled to be a part of the LLMoves team! |
DANCER: ADELE CARLSON
Adele Carlson was raised in Houston, TX and graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She then continued her studies at Southern Methodist University where she graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BS in Geophysics. While at SMU, Adele trained extensively in the Martha Graham technique and served as a demonstrator for Myra Woodruff. She also performed in works by Caleb Teicher, Dwight Rhoden, Molissa Fenley, Danny Buraczeski, and Adam Houghland to name a few, and she had the privilege of performing Robert Battle's Battlefield at the Joyce Theater. Upon graduating, she moved to New York and most recently performed with Salvatore Larussa Dance Theatre. In addition to dancing, Adele is part of the Lee Jones Lab’s clinical research team at Memorial Sloan Kettering and has plans to pursue a career in medicine to help advance the practice of injury prevention and rehabilitation for dancers. |
GUEST DANCER: ERIN ARBUCKLE
Erin Scott Arbuckle received her training from The California Ballet School and School of American Ballet. She has danced with California Ballet Company, Columbia Ballet Collaborative, Terra Firma Dance Theatre, Ballet Next, Jeremy McQueen’s Black Iris Project, Alison Cook Beatty Dance, Eglevsky Ballet, Ballet Popular, LLMoves, and Emery LeCrone Dance. Additionally, she holds a B.A. from Columbia University in Sociocultural Anthropology, brews her own beer, runs marathons, and recently finished 3rd in her first 50 mile ultra marathon. |
GUEST DANCER: DERYN BEAMAN
A native of Pittsburgh PA, Deryn Beaman is a classically trained dancer. Her schooling began at The Pittsburgh Ballet Theater School and continued to The Joffrey Ballet School Pre-Professional Program. Deryn graduated from Marymount Manhattan College class of 2015 with a BFA in dance and a minor in French. As a supplement to her dancing, Deryn is a group fitness instructor at SLT NYC, Pure Yoga, and Hydra NYC. Deryn joined LLMoves in 2019. |
